COMEOpening a COME APK with Android's installer
Open a completed APK through the normal Android installation route. If another app tries to preview it, check the file type and source before proceeding.
Start with the completed item
Use the browser's Downloads entry or a trusted file manager on the device. Confirm that the selected item is the intended APK and that the transfer completed. Do not open a partial file just because it has a familiar name.
Read the handling choice
Some devices may show an application chooser. Use the device's normal package-installation handling if available and appropriate. A document viewer or archive preview does not install the app. Do not download an unknown “installer helper” to bypass a refusal.
Follow Android's result
Read identity, permission and security messages in the installer. If the device rejects the file, keep the exact wording. A refusal can have several causes; renaming, unpacking or repeatedly opening the same item cannot identify which cause applies.
